Fist off, it's the coolest looking iPhone case out there and it's great for when your phone dies (which, lets face it, happens way too much with the iPhone 5).
As far a protecting the phone, it's actually one of the better phone cases I've ever had. it has the lip that covers the front corners and doesn't get dirty as quickly as most.
Most importantly, you don't have to remove the case to charge it with the iPhone 4 charger adapter! For the price and awesome look of this case, it is definitely worth every penny and then some.
